Could Not Be More Impressed

Ada County received the SWANA training course from Michelle Langdon and we could not be more impressed.  Ada County gained tons of knowledge and Michelle did a fantastic job!  We would highly recommend Michelle for any training.  She made the course very fun, and her knowledge and professionalism was very impressive.

Extensive Funding Knowledge

The City of Glendive has worked with Great West Engineering on two major projects and numerous smaller projects in the last eleven years. We have completed a wastewater treatment plant and are currently working with them on our water treatment plant upgrades. Great West has completed planning, grant writing, design, and construction management for each of these projects.

Their knowledge of funding from different agencies, both State and federal, is extensive. They have helped the City receive multiple grants to complete projects. If we have questions, they are available to help guide us. The grant writing staff has exhaustive experience in both writing and administering grants and have worked on both sides of the grant process.

Always Available

The City of Cut Bank has worked with Great West Engineering for over a decade on multiple projects on multiple scales. Great West Engineering and the City of Cut Bank just completed a $16 million-dollar wastewater treatment facility where the project came in within budget and on time.

The Great West Engineering employees I have worked with have always been available for consultation whenever I have needed them. They are knowledgeable, professional, and well connected with other agencies to help them deliver a product that is well designed and cost efficient. I would highly recommend them for any projects you may have coming up.

Industry Knowledge

Great West built conceptual layouts for us keeping everyone’s goals in mind. One thing that stood out to me during this process was the teams knowledge of the industry.

Seamless Part of Our Landfill Team

Travis Pyle and Michelle Langdon of Great West have been a pleasure to work with and have seamlessly become a part of our landfill team. Their genuine willingness to help provide guidance and find solutions to our challenges has come as a nice change from other consulting teams that have a “salesman” mentality.

Great West Engineering Does Not Take Short Cuts

As an owner/operator, it is important that an engineering firm not only understands what you want, but also listens to the direction you give them. In my experience, Great West Engineering does not take short cuts and has little gray area which leads to a project that will stand the test of time. I would recommend them if you want a project with high end design.

Josh Bartlome, Executive Director

Southern Idaho Solid Waste District

Integral Part of Our Regional Landfill’s

Travis has been a very integral part of ACRL’s [Asotin County Regional Landfill’s] effort to meet all of our operation and environmental needs. His attention to detail, diligence to deadlines and ability to meet the County’s constraints is exceptional.

Steve Becker, Solid Waste Supervisor
