CDBG Application for New Gypsy Jackson Memorial Library
New Gypsy Jackson Memorial Library

Gypsy Jackson Memorial Library

Located approximately 35 miles west of Boise, the City of Homedale had long tried to raise the funding it needed to replace its 1,300 sq. ft. public library with a 3,600 sq. ft building. In 2017, the City hired Great West to prepare an application for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Idaho Department of Commerce. In May 2018, the State of Idaho awarded the City a $492,874 CDBG grant for its library project. Homedale completed the construction of its new library in November 2019.
